Hi! I'm Victoria Cockrell, student at Wright State University. I study international business and am pursuing an honors degree. For an honors class, I will be discussing novels focused around the theme of apocalypse.

Apocalypse is presented through media in many forms, and fiction is no exception. Over the course of the semester many different characters will face their own apocalypse. I will be analyzing their stories and survival.

Current events, and a love of reading drove my interest in the class. As more news unfolds, the more relevant it becomes. Currently, a pandemic, political unrest, climate destruction, and economic crashes are all signs that we should be ready for the apocalypse.
