Part of the MADADDAM trilogy, Year of the Flood is an in the moment apocalypse story. It features two strong female leads trying to survive in a freshly post-apocalyptic society. With a combination of diseases, religious ties, and even cult-like behavior, Year of the Flood is an interesting read.
